MIRROR MIRROR ON THE WALL………
We look in the mirror every day, but I wonder how often we really see ourselves.
Not just the reflection looking back at us, but the person we have become.
The lessons we’ve learned.
The confidence we’ve gained.
The dreams we still carry.
The strength we didn’t even realize we had.
And it makes me wonder…
Mirror, mirror on the wall,
why do you say I’m the fairest of them all?
Maybe the answer has nothing to do with what we see on the surface.
Maybe the mirror sees something in us that we sometimes forget to see in ourselves.
What if the mirror could see beyond our reflection? What would it notice about us that we sometimes overlook?
Would it see the strength within our eyes and all the life they’ve come to recognize?
Would it see the smile we share with everyone around us, or the quiet confidence we’ve slowly found within ourselves?
Maybe being the fairest of them all was never really about being the prettiest person in the room.
Maybe it’s about the way we grow.
The way we begin again.
The way we learn to trust ourselves a little more.
The way we become softer in some places, stronger in others, and more comfortable with who we are becoming.
Sometimes we spend so much time noticing what we want to change that we forget to appreciate what has already changed within us.
The mirror holds every version of who we have been.
The dreamer.
The learner.
The brave one.
The uncertain one.
The one still figuring things out.
And the one becoming more herself every day.
Maybe the goal isn’t to look in the mirror and see perfection.
Maybe it’s simply to look back at ourselves with a little more kindness and recognize how far we’ve come, while still being excited about where we’re going.
And maybe the next time we stand in front of that mirror and ask…
Mirror, mirror on the wall,
why do you say I’m the fairest of them all?
We won’t need the mirror to answer.
Maybe, finally, we’ll already know.
Just a thought to leave you with…
When you look in the mirror today, what is one thing about the person looking back at you that you are proud of?
With all my heart,
